Job Description:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients to maximize revenue
- Collaborate closely with IT and quant teams on electronic trading system upgrades and algo strategy development
- Prepare pre and post trade Transaction Cost Analysis (TCA). Partner with clients to optimize their trading strategy and execution performance
- Ensure best execution in strict accordance with client instructions, delivering timely and accurate order reporting
- Manage client and system setups, including EMS connectivity, Fidessa, and other internal trading platforms
- Provide timely research, market news, flow updates, and actionable market color to clients
- Monitor real-time trading activities to ensure strict compliance with all relevant regulatory frameworks
- Work closely with Compliance, Risk and Operations teams on strategic projects and operational process improvements
- Lead, mentor, and nurture junior and mid-level team members to support their professional growth
Qualification:
- 10+ years of relevant experience in electronic sales trading, with proven experience managing a sales trading team
- Holder of a bachelor's degree or higher
- HK SFC licensed for Type 1 and Type 4 (Type 2 license is highly preferred)
- In-depth knowledge of trading APAC equity markets (including Stock Connect), including local exchange rules and regulatory frameworks
- Demonstrated experience leading trading system implementations and algorithmic development projects
- Excellent command of written and spoken English and Mandarin. Proficiency in Cantonese is preferred but not essential
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust with sophisticated institutional clients and internal stakeholders
