As an Armed Security Officer supporting a government services location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, monitor access points, and respond to security-related concerns with professionalism. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, contractors, and/or members of the public while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities at a government utility location.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of buildings, grounds, parking areas, access points, and perimeter areas to help identify and report unusual conditions, unauthorized activity, and potential hazards.
• Monitor access to restricted areas, verify credentials as required, and assist with visitor and contractor entry procedures in accordance with site policies.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate personnel and document activities as required.
• Maintain accurate daily activity reports, incident reports, and patrol logs while following Allied Universal and site-specific procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess an armed guard card or license.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
