Location: Houston, TX 77023
Pay: $18.00 per hour | Weekly Pay
Schedule: Monday–Friday | 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM
Anticipated Start Date: Mid-September

Openwork is seeking an experienced and dependable Warehouse Shipping & Receiving Associate for a well-established Houston company that has served the law enforcement industry since 1971.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong shipping, receiving, inventory control, and warehouse experience who is looking for stable, long-term employment with a company that invests in its employees.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Handle daily shipping and receiving operations.
- Receive and inspect incoming shipments for damage, shortages, or defects.
- Perform cycle counts and assist with physical inventory audits.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and organized stock locations.
- Monitor inventory levels and assist with replenishment.
- Research and resolve inventory discrepancies.
- Update inventory information using Microsoft Excel and Great Plains.
- Maintain accurate labels, inventory locations, and warehouse storage areas.
- Work with warehouse team members and vendors to support efficient operations.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Follow company procedures and inventory-control processes.
What We're Looking For:
- 2+ years of warehouse shipping and receiving experience required
- Inventory control experience required.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Great Plains required.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to identify and resolve inventory discrepancies.
- Ability to lift materials and remain active throughout the shift.
- Reliable and consistent attendance.
- Strong work ethic and team-oriented attitude.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
Schedule & Work Requirements:
- Monday–Friday.
- 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM.
- Anticipated start date: Mid-September.
- Full-time schedule.
- Temp-to-hire opportunity.
- Must be dependable and consistently available for the scheduled shift.
