Deliver Exceptional Experiences at One of the World's Greatest Sporting Events

The Ryder Cup is one of the most prestigious and globally recognised sporting events, welcoming elite athletes, global partners, corporate clients, VIP guests and fans from around the world.

We're looking for an experienced Premium Hospitality Manager to join the Ryder Cup 2027 team and play a key role in the planning and delivery of premium hospitality programmes at Adare Manor, Ireland.

This is an exciting opportunity to lead the client servicing and operational delivery of premium experiences for corporate clients, VIP guests and hospitality suite holders at one of sport's biggest stages. Reporting into a Ryder Cup Project Manager, you'll work closely with internal teams, suppliers, hospitality partners and stakeholders to coordinate all aspects of premium hospitality delivery while building strong relationships with some of the event's most important clients.

What You'll Be Responsible For:

Client Management & Hospitality Planning

  • Lead account management responsibilities for Premium Experiences clients, ensuring a seamless journey from sale through to event delivery.

  • Act as a primary point of contact for hospitality clients, VIP guests and suite holders throughout the planning phase.

  • Manage guest requirements including itineraries, accreditation, transport, parking, hospitality arrangements and special requests.

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with corporate clients, VIPs and high-net-worth individuals to enhance the overall guest experience.

  • Work closely with the Ryder Cup Sales Support Executive to coordinate client communications and programme delivery.

Hospitality Operations & Event Readiness

  • Coordinate with internal teams, suppliers and event stakeholders to ensure operational readiness across all premium hospitality areas.

  • Support the preparation and delivery of hospitality venues, including suite setup, guest welcome processes and venue readiness activities.

  • Coordinate signage, event collateral, catering operations and sponsor requirements to ensure accurate delivery against event plans.

  • Attend operational planning meetings, readiness reviews and daily event briefings.

  • Monitor health and safety compliance and escalate operational issues where required.

Event Delivery

  • Act as a key operational lead during championship week, ensuring exceptional hospitality delivery across premium guest experiences.

  • Oversee guest arrival, accreditation, check-in processes and hospitality operations.

  • Resolve operational issues quickly and professionally while maintaining high service standards.

  • Support the management and briefing of hospitality hosts, agency staff and guest-facing teams.

  • Work closely with catering partners and suppliers to ensure a seamless guest experience throughout the event.

Post-Event Support

  • Assist with post-event reporting, client feedback collection and stakeholder reviews.

  • Contribute to lessons learned processes and continuous improvement recommendations for future events.

  • Support client follow-up activities and hospitality programme evaluations.

What We're Looking For

  • Previous hospitality and catering operations management experience at middle or senior level within the events industry.

  • Proven experience delivering major international events with a strong understanding of hospitality and guest experience operations.

  • Experience managing relationships with VIP, corporate and high-net-worth clients.

  • Strong account management and client servicing experience.

  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects, deadlines and stakeholders simultaneously.

  • Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high standards in fast-paced environments.

  • Experience managing agency staff, hospitality teams or event personnel.

  • Ability to build effective working relationships with clients, suppliers, stakeholders and operational teams.

  • A proactive, hands-on approach with strong problem-solving and decision-making capabilities.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel and PowerPoint.

  • Experience using hospitality management platforms such as Syrox, zkipster or similar systems would be advantageous.

Who You Are

You are a highly organised hospitality professional who enjoys creating exceptional guest experiences and building strong client relationships.

You thrive in busy event environments, take pride in delivering outstanding service and are confident managing multiple stakeholders while maintaining attention to detail.

Most importantly, you understand that premium hospitality is about more than logistics. It's about creating memorable experiences for guests attending one of the most iconic events in sport.

What to Expect

  • A dynamic, hands-on role with the opportunity to work on a global sporting event.

  • Hybrid working.

  • International travel during planning phases.

  • Extended on-site presence at Adare Manor in the lead-up to the event (up to six weeks).

  • Occasional evening and weekend work during key delivery periods.

  • The opportunity to work alongside industry-leading professionals delivering one of the world's premier sporting events.
