SAP S/4HANA Tester (TOSCA)

Responsibilities

 

We are seeking an experienced SAP S/4HANA Tester with strong hands-on expertise in Tosca and or qTest Manager to support end-to-end testing and test automation initiatives.

 

The ideal candidate will have experience designing, developing, executing, and managing automated tests for core SAP S/4HANA business processes. This role will also be responsible for administering Tosca environments, developing reusable automation assets, and managing test execution and reporting through qTest Manager.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test cases for SAP S/4HANA business processes using Tricentis Tosca.

• Configure and administer Tosca environments, including:

  • Workspaces

  • Repositories

  • Execution Lists

  • User access and governance

  • Test automation standards and best practices

• Build and maintain reusable Tosca automation assets, including modules, test cases, test data, and reusable components.

• Develop automated tests covering core S/4HANA processes and integrations.

• Plan, organize, and execute functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end testing.

• Use qTest Manager to manage requirements traceability, test cycles, execution, defect tracking, and testing dashboards.

• Monitor test execution results, identify failures, perform initial analysis, and coordinate defect resolution with development and functional teams.

• Maintain test documentation, automation standards, and testing governance.

• Collaborate with SAP functional teams, business analysts, developers, and QA teams to understand requirements and translate them into effective test scenarios.

• Support test planning, execution reporting, status reporting, and overall quality assurance activities.

• Continuously improve test automation coverage, reusability, maintainability, and execution efficiency.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

• 5 years with BS/BA; 3 years with MS/MA; 0 years with PhD
• Hands-on experience with Tosca.

• Strong experience configuring and administering Tosca, including workspaces, repositories, execution lists, and governance.

• Proven experience building reusable Tosca assets, including modules, test cases, and test data.

• Hands-on experience testing SAP S/4HANA applications and core business processes.

• Experience automating SAP systems using Tricentis Tosca.

• Strong experience with Tricentis qTest Manager.

• Experience with requirements traceability, test cycles, test execution, dashboards, and test reporting in qTest.

• Understanding of functional, integration, regression, and end-to-end testing methodologies.

• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, communication, and documentation skills.

• Must be a US Citizen or a Green Card Holder.
• Must be able to obtain or maintain the required agency clearance. 

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with SAP S/4HANA implementation, migration, upgrade, or transformation projects.

• Experience testing SAP integrations with external systems.

• Familiarity with SAP modules such as Finance (FI), Controlling (CO), Sales & Distribution (SD), Materials Management (MM), or other core S/4HANA processes.

• Experience establishing Tosca automation frameworks and standards.

• Knowledge of Agile/Scrum testing methodologies.

• Experience working in large enterprise QA or SAP transformation programs

Target Salary Range

$86,000 - $138,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position. Salary is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, the scope and responsibilities of the position, the individual’s experience, education, knowledge, skills, and competencies, as well as geographic location and business and contract considerations. Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay.
