Job Description:
Satair is looking for a Summer Intern - Digital & II to join our Information Management (IT) team based in Dulles, VA.
This internship offers hands-on experience working directly with the Digital team to gain a deep understanding of the IT landscape and key applications supporting our regional business functions. The intern will actively contribute to and support live projects related to crucial logistics and warehouse management systems, providing valuable exposure to enterprise-level IT in the aerospace industry.
Meet the Team:
The IM Satair Americas (ASDU) team supports the business functions for Satair in the NA Region. The team supports applications like SAP, Autostore WMS system, Pitney Bowes Shipping. You will be part of a team supporting key functions of the business like AOG (Aircraft on Ground), Warehouse, Quality, Repair and Finance. Key applications supported include SAP, Shipping applications like Pitney Bowes and devices like RF Guns, Zebra Label printers and
Your Working Environment:
Located at our Dulles, VA facility, you will work in an energetic and collaborative environment operating within a combined office and warehouse setting. You will be working directly alongside experienced logistics professionals and the wider IM Satair Americas (ASDU) team, which supports business functions across the North America region.
Program Highlights:
Participation in the Summer 2027 Intern Program: May 17, 2027 - August 6, 2027 (12 weeks)
Involvement in projects related to Autostore Robotic WMS or SAP related projects.
Mentored by business analysts actively supporting the above applications.
Your Challenges:
Project Support: Actively participate in projects focused on optimizing and maintaining critical logistics and warehousing applications, including SAP AP1 and SAP RPR (Logistics Modules).
System Implementation: Assist in the support and potential rollout expansion and upgrade of specialized warehouse systems like Autostore and shipping platforms such as Pitney Bowes.
Stakeholder Communication: Practice and develop strong written and verbal communication skills by interacting with IT professionals and business users across the organization.
Documentation and Training: Contribute to the creation and maintenance of technical documentation, user guides, and training materials for supported applications
Collaborate with the Digital team to map and understand the operational workflows and the key business applications
Your Boarding Pass:
Required
HS Diploma/GED and currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree at an accredited college or university.
Ability to work in the US without current or future need of visa sponsorship.
Preferred
Customer/Technical Support Experience: Prior experience in a technical support role, help desk, or even a customer service position, which highlights strong problem-solving, communication, and troubleshooting skills.
Basic Programming/Scripting Skills: Fundamental skills in a common programming or scripting language (e.g., Python, SQL, Java) that could be used for data analysis or basic system querying.
Academic Project Experience: Participation in relevant academic or extracurricular projects.
Physical Requirements:

Vision: Able to see and read computer screens and other electronic equipment with screens, able to read documents, reports and engineering drawings. 100%

Pay Range:
Hourly range based on the required profile: $24 - $39.75/hour. Rate determined by type of degree program and year in school (Bachelors through Masters). Actual minimum and maximum may vary based on geographic differential. Individual pay is based on skills, experience, and other relevant factors. This position offers the following benefits: Employee Assistance Program, Paid time off including paid holidays.
