Adventist HealthCare seeks to hire an experienced Revenue Cycle Director for our Patient Financial Services Department who will embrace our mission to extend God’s care through the ministry of physical, mental, and spiritual healing.
As a Revenue Cycle Director, you will:
• Oversight for Back Office revenue cycle functions-A/R management, Cash Posting, and Claims Submission
• Develop and implement strategies to optimize revenue cycle processes and improve cash flow.
• Responsible for monitoring revenue cycle metrics, including gross and net collection rates, denial rates, A/R days, and bad debt, to ensure that department goals are met or exceeded.
• Develop strategies to accelerate cash collections and reduce write-offs.
• Act as a liaison between the back-office team and other revenue cycle areas to address cross-functional challenges and enhance patient financial experience.
• Establish and monitor operational processes and workflows to streamline to enhance efficiency and productivity. Implement best practices, monitor key performance indicators (KPIs), and develop strategies to achieve operational excellence.
• Identify skill gaps within the team and develop strategies for filling those gaps. • Support employee development through training, mentoring, and coaching.
• Identify high-potential employees and create succession plans.
• Effective project management skills to successful execute and close on Revenue Cycle projects for the back-office.
• Experience with and strong knowledge of insurance landscape, including reimbursement policies.
• Have solid analytical skills, be able to translate complex data into clear action and can communicate it to junior and senior levels of the organization. Advanced Excel Sheets skills preferred.
• Possess strong written and oral communication skills.
• Be detailed-oriented, organized, and takes pride in the quality of their work.
• Have problem-solving skills and ability to make timely decisions.
• Promote AHC values; overall teamwork and a positive work environment
• Lead multi-disciplined teams to integrate their solutions & services.
• Build & maintain relationships with key stakeholders covering a range of business sectors.
• Provide insights to enhance delivery models & outcomes that meet their entity needs.
• Collaborate with implementation & development teams to enhance service delivery.
• Ensure legal compliance and regulatory compliance of local Revenue Cycle processes at the entity.
• Attend and participate in committees and task forces as assigned.

Qualifications include:
• Bachelor’s Degree required, business or healthcare management preferred
• A minimum of 10 years’ experience in healthcare revenue cycle management.
• PC skills in a Windows environment are required.
• Knowledge and utilization of desktop applications including Word and Excel is essential.
• Ability to initiate and follow through on projects and work independently with minimal supervision required.
• Has ability to impact in excess of $200M in A/R
• Oversight of staff of approximately 50 FTE’s

Pay Range:
$127,850.69 - $191,776.04If the salary range is listed as $0 or if the position is Per Diem (with a fixed rate), salary discussions will take place during the screening process.
