What You'll Do
The Vice President, Marketing, Global Racquet 360 leads global marketing strategy and execution across the full Racquet 360 portfolio: Racquet Hardgoods, Footwear, and Apparel. The VP, Marketing will develop brand and go-to-market efforts that unify the presentation of our racquet categories and collectively grow our entire Racquets business and customer acquisition. This role reports to the Chief Marketing Officer and serves as a key member of the marketing leadership team, partnering closely with the GM, Racquet Sports, President and GM, Softgoods and regional commercial leaders to drive category growth worldwide.
This person leads a large, global organization comprising region-specific marketing teams embedded in key markets, along with a global team of marketers who develop brand strategy, campaigns, and marketing materials for use across regions. The role requires balancing global brand consistency with the flexibility regional teams need to win locally.
Specific responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Own the global marketing strategy and brand positioning for Racquet 360, spanning Hardgoods, Footwear, and Apparel, ensuring a unified 360-degree brand experience across all consumer touchpoints
- Lead, develop, and scale a global marketing organization, including regional marketing leaders and a global center-of-excellence team responsible for brand strategy, creative development, and go-to-market toolkits
- Partner with regional marketing and commercial teams to localize and execute global campaigns, product launches, and athlete/sponsorship activations in ways that support the global brand but resonate well with local markets
- Set the global product marketing and launch calendar in partnership with the category GMs and the Product/Merchandising teams, ensuring alignment across categories and regions
- Build and manage the global Racquet 360 marketing budget, allocating investment across regions and categories to maximize ROI
- Serve as the primary marketing partner to both the GM, Racquet Sports and President and GM, Softgoods, as well as other senior stakeholders, representing the voice of the category within the broader marketing organization
- Drive consistent brand storytelling and go-to-market frameworks that global and regional teams can adapt, reducing duplication of effort and strengthening brand equity worldwide
- Establish KPIs and reporting to measure marketing effectiveness and category growth across regions
- Represent Racquet 360 marketing in cross-category and cross-functional leadership forums, ensuring the category's needs are reflected in broader marketing operations, tools, and processes
What We're Looking For
We're looking for an experienced global marketing leader who can operate at both strategic and executional levels, someone who can set a compelling global brand vision for a multi-category portfolio while building the organizational structure and regional partnerships needed to bring it to life around the world.
Other qualifications include:
- 12+ years of progressive marketing leadership experience, including experience leading global or multi-region marketing organizations, ideally within sporting goods, apparel, footwear, or another consumer brand category
- Proven experience leading distributed teams across regions and building effective global-to-local operating models
- Strong category or brand marketing background spanning hardgoods, apparel, and/or footwear; racquet sports or performance sports experience a plus
- Track record of partnering effectively with commercial/GM leadership and cross-functional teams (Design, Product, Merchandising, Sales) to drive category growth
- Strong financial acumen, including experience owning and managing large global marketing budgets
- Excellent executive communication, influencing, and stakeholder management skills across cultures and regions
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field; MBA a plus
- Willingness to travel internationally as needed to support regional teams and markets
