Supply Chain and Warehouse Head

The position is responsible for leading and optimizing the organization's end-to-end supply chain and warehouse operations to ensure efficient procurement planning, inventory management, warehousing, logistics coordination, and service delivery. It oversees the movement of materials while ensuring inventory accuracy, cost efficiency, operational excellence, and uninterrupted supply to support business objectives. The role drives strategic planning, process improvements, and cross-functional alignment across different teams.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES 

• Lead and manage the overall supply chain and warehouse operations, including inventory planning, warehousing, logistics coordination, and material flow management.
• Develop and implement supply chain strategies that optimize inventory levels, service performance, operational efficiency, and cost management.
• Oversee demand planning, inventory forecasting, replenishment planning, and stock availability to support production and customer requirements.
• Ensure accurate inventory management through cycle counts, physical inventory audits, reconciliation activities, and inventory control measures.
• Manage warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, issuance, dispatching, and space optimization activities.
• Monitor inventory turnover, aging stocks, slow-moving inventories, stock variances, and warehouse utilization metrics.
• Establish inventory policies, warehouse procedures, and supply chain controls that ensure compliance, traceability, and operational consistency.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives that enhance supply chain efficiency, warehouse productivity, and fulfillment performance.
• Lead transportation and logistics coordination to ensure timely movement of materials and finished goods.
• Monitor supply chain and warehouse KPIs and provide recommendations to improve service levels, cost efficiency, and operational performance.
• Manage warehouse personnel and supply chain teams through coaching, performance management, succession planning, and capability development.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards, quality requirements, regulatory guidelines, and company policies across warehouse and supply chain operations.
• Oversee warehouse systems, inventory management tools, ERP transactions, and reporting activities to ensure data integrity and operational visibility.
• Support business growth initiatives through capacity planning, warehouse expansion projects, network optimization, and operational scaling programs.

QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS:

• You must have a bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, Logistics, Operations Management, or a related field.
• You must have at least 8–10 years of experience in supply chain, warehouse, logistics, inventory management, or related operations.
• You must have at least 3–5 years of leadership experience managing supply chain and warehouse functions.
• You must have strong knowledge of inventory planning, warehouse management, logistics operations, demand forecasting, and supply chain optimization.
• You must have experience in construction, real estate, manufacturing, or related industries.
• You must have strong analytical skills with experience managing KPIs, inventory accuracy, service levels, and operational performance metrics.
• You must have experience using ERP, WMS, inventory management systems, or supply chain planning tools.
• You must have strong leadership, stakeholder management, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
• You must have experience in budget management, cost optimization, and process improvement initiatives.
• You must be highly organized, results-driven, and capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced operational environment.
• You must demonstrate strong problem-solving, decision-making, and continuous improvement capabilities.
