Position Summary

The Remote Monitoring Specialist I is an entry-level role within Hach Global Services team, responsible for monitoring, troubleshooting, and optimizing Data & Analytics software and associated instrumentation.

The Global Services team provides expert guidance, actionable insights, and practical recommendations to maximize operating efficiency of water systems through remote data collection and analysis.

This role supports multiple global customers and collaborates with Project Managers and cross-functional teams to ensure service delivery meets or exceeds expectations.

Key Responsibilities – Deliver Monitoring Services

  • Execute Real-Time Control (RTC) monitoring services, including commissioning, optimization, and daily monitoring of global customer sites.
  • Provide remote support (phone, email, etc.) for troubleshooting and resolution of technical issues.
  • Apply established procedures to resolve routine and standard problems.
  • Develop product and application knowledge across the Data & Analytics portfolio.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of internal procedures, including SOPs.
  • Monitor, support, and optimize digital services and boundary systems associated with customer solutions, ensuring integrated performance across connected platforms and services.

Qualifications

  • Associate degree or equivalent experience required
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Experience in water or industrial markets preferred
  • Familiarity with MS Office, Salesforce, ServiceMax preferred
