The role requires a proactive, commercially focused self-starter who can act as a trusted procurement partner to senior stakeholders while balancing local business needs with regional and global priorities. Please note that this role is a 1-year contract.

Your Key Responsibilities:

Your responsibilities include, but not limited to:

  • Lead strategic sourcing and procurement activities across Marketing & Sales, Corporate Services, Technology, and other assigned spend categories.

  • Execute global and regional category strategies locally, aligning procurement initiatives with business priorities and market requirements.

  • Develop sourcing strategies, conduct competitive bidding processes, evaluate supplier proposals, negotiate commercial terms, and support supplier selection.

  • Deliver measurable business value through cost savings, cost avoidance, demand management, process improvements, and risk mitigation initiatives.

  • Build trusted partnerships with business stakeholders and promote early Procurement involvement in planning, budgeting, and sourcing decisions.

  • Manage supplier relationships, including contract execution, performance monitoring, service quality, risk management, and continuous improvement activities.

  • Ensure compliance with company policies, procurement governance standards, contractual obligations, regulatory requirements, and sustainability objectives.

  • Leverage spend analytics, market intelligence, procurement technologies, and data-driven insights to support sourcing decisions and identify value creation opportunities.

  • Collaborate effectively with global and regional procurement teams while supporting procurement activities across Hong Kong, Taiwan, China, and other designated Asian markets.

What you’ll bring to the role:

Essential Requirements:

  •  Bachelor's degree in Business, Procurement, Supply Chain, Finance, or a related discipline; CIPS certification and/or a Master's degree is advantageous.

  • Minimum 4-6 years of procurement experience within a multinational organization, preferably in pharmaceutical, healthcare, or other regulated industries.

  • Fluent English and professional working proficiency in Mandarin are required.

  • Proven experience in strategic sourcing, competitive tendering, supplier negotiations, contract management, and supplier relationship management.

  • Demonstrated experience managing indirect procurement categories, ideally including Marketing & Sales, Corporate Services, Technology, or Professional Services.

  • Strong commercial, financial, and analytical acumen, with a track record of delivering measurable savings, compliance, and business value outcomes.

  • Ability to influence senior stakeholders, manage competing priorities, and drive procurement initiatives across cross-functional and geographically dispersed teams.

  • Strong communication, negotiation, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to balance business needs, risk, and compliance requirements.

  • Experience using procurement technologies and digital sourcing tools, including e-sourcing platforms, spend analytics, contract lifecycle management systems, and SAP Ariba or equivalent solutions
