About This Opportunity
Bring memorable events and dining experiences to life at Customs House, one of Brisbane’s distinctive heritage hospitality venues. We are seeking energetic, polished and customer-focused Food and Beverage Attendants to join our collaborative team across Banquets Operations and Patina Restaurant. You will work in an inclusive, high-performing environment where professional service, teamwork and attention to detail create exceptional experiences for every guest.
Staff must be available to work across a seven-day roster, including early mornings, evenings, late nights and weekends.
Key responsibilities will include:
Deliver professional food and beverage service and create a warm, memorable experience for guests.
Set up and pack down restaurant, function and bar spaces, including equipment and furniture.
Provide plate, clearing and tray service across banquets, events and restaurant operations.
Prepare and serve beverages, including mixed drinks and cocktails, while applying sound wine knowledge.
Support stock control, storage, presentation and the cleanliness of front-of-house and back-of-house areas.
Communicate clearly during service and contribute to smooth handovers and collaborative teamwork.
About You
You will bring:
A current Queensland Responsible Service of Alcohol certificate.
Approximately two years of experience in a comparable food and beverage, restaurant, events or premium hospitality role.
A genuine commitment to creating positive guest experiences through attentive and professional service.
Experience with plate carrying, plate clearing and tray service.
Confidence serving beverages, with cocktail-making skills and wine knowledge highly regarded.
A positive, dependable and customer-focused approach.
Strong communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to contribute during busy service periods.
Flexibility to work across a seven-day roster, including early mornings, evenings, late nights and weekends.
