Type: Full-time

Location: San Diego, California

Travel: 10%

**Contingent Upon Award**

Position Summary: The Special Operations Forces Analyst provides operational and analytical support to Naval Special Warfare Command's Operations Department and Special Project Division. The analyst assists government personnel with the synchronization of sensitive activities, mission planning support, operational analysis, targeting and intelligence-cycle support, and the alignment of Naval Special Warfare capabilities against Geographic Combatant Command, Fleet, and Theater Special Operations Command requirements. The position also supports Alternative Compensatory Control Measure program management activities, classified information administration, access management, and security-related processes. This role directly contributes to mission readiness, operational effectiveness, and the protection of nationally sensitive capabilities and information.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Support identification and alignment of Naval Special Operations Forces maritime requirements.

• Assist in operational, targeting, and intelligence-cycle activities.

• Support synchronization of sensitive activities with Special Operations Forces missions.

• Conduct strategic, operational, and tactical analysis supporting Naval Special Warfare missions.

• Assist in development of plans employing sensitive tactics, techniques, and procedures.

• Support integration of Naval Special Warfare sensitive activities with Joint Force planning.

• Maintain databases and records supporting program operations.

• Submit and track Special Project Division training requests.

• Support classified information management and security compliance activities.

• Prepare reports, correspondence, and analytical products

Required Qualifications:

• US Citizen

• Valid U.S. driver’s license

• Must hold an active Top Secret Security Clearance (SCI eligible)

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint)

• Clear and effective verbal and written communication

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in a relevant field (preferred).

• Experience supporting Special Operations Forces, Department of Defense, intelligence, security, operations, planning, or related programs.

• Experience conducting strategic, operational, and tactical analysis.

• Experience working with classified information and security procedures.

• Experience maintaining databases and records with high levels of accuracy.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Physical Demands and Work Environment: While performing the duties of this position, the employee is regularly required to talk, listen, and write. The employee frequently is required to use foot/ankle motions, hands or fingers, handle or feel objects, tools, or controls. The employee is required to stand, walk, sit; and reach with hands and arms. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this position include close vision, distance vision, and the ability to adjust focus. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
