STATUS: Full Time
LOCATION: Unity Hospital
DEPARTMENT: Facilities
SCHEDULE: 8 Hr; Varies Shift Flexibility Required.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Assist the Supervisor with assigned staff, monitoring performance, developing work schedules, applicable training, in-services. Participates in monthly staff meetings.
Assist with the administration of department policies and procedures related to OSHA, JC, and internal recommendations.
Required to assist supervisor with customer satisfaction. Research and follow up on customer complaints, suggests and implements resolutions.
Maintains daily communication with staff, superiors, and customers. Responsible for making routine rounds with customers on the units assuring that operations are running smoothly and enhancing visibility.
Responsible for quality data collection and aggregation to share with team. Understands and complies with all Universal Precautions.
Responsible for unit rounds to assure appropriate equipment location and state of readiness. Performs basic preventative maintenance of equipment.
Assists staff with room/equipment set up, clean up and room turnover.Maintains frequent and effective communication with clinical team re: needs.
Utilizes personal protection equipment and work practice controls to prevent/minimize occupational exposure to blood or other infectious materials. Chemical cleaning of equipment as required.Coordinates pick up and delivery of patient care equipment as required or requested. Assures timely delivery to appropriate locations.
Miscellaneous duties such as patient transport, equipment delivery, lab and specimen transport as required.
Coordinates and tracks equipment repair and time turnaround with other departments.
Adheres to all Unity Health System policy and procedures. Keeps updated and actively participates in department and hospital operational initiatives.
Minimum Qualifications:
Two years clinical healthcare experience preferred.
Good people skills.
Excellent organizational skills.
Ability to multitask and prioritize multiple requests.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

The listed base pay range is a good faith representation of current potential base pay for a successful full time applicant.
