About the role:

The Painter is an essential member of the Engineering Department, responsible for maintaining the visual standards and overall condition of the property. This role focuses on diagnosing, servicing, and completing repairs across the hotel that require sanding, painting, varnishing, and finishing. The Painter plays a key role in supporting guest satisfaction and daily operations by maintaining the property's appearance and ensuring all painting and finishing work is completed efficiently, responsively, and to the highest standards. The team embodies all Four Seasons cultural values while maintaining established standards, with professionalism expected at all times. This role reports to the Engineering Manager and is overseen by the Director of Rooms.

What you will do:

• Painting: Prepare surfaces and complete interior and exterior painting projects with a high level of detail and care

• Organization & Safety: Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workspace while ensuring tools, materials, and equipment are properly maintained

• Installation: Install and repair wall coverings and refinish woodwork to maintain the hotel's luxury appearance and standards

• Service: Respond promptly to work orders and room inspection requests, ensuring all work is completed efficiently and logged accurately

• Communication/Teamwork: Collaborating with team members to ensure guests are always taken care of

​What you bring:

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining strong attention to detail.

• Strong time management and organizational skills.

• Technical knowledge of painting techniques, materials, and finishing processes.

• Fluency in reading, writing, and spoken English is required.

• Experience in a similar role is a plus

​Schedule & Hours: 

• This is a full-time position

• The working hours will vary and may include mornings, days, afternoons, and evenings on weekdays and weekends.
