Description

The Regional Sales and Service Manager manages Branch, Concierge, and MCC Sales, as well as the Operations Division Sales Business Plan. The plan includes goals, objectives, strategies, tools and resources, and training that ensures the attainment of revenue, Membership, and growth targets, across Operations Division channels and in a manner which ensures exceptional Member experiences and the Building of Better Lives. Keeps abreast of competitive landscape and innovation and design strategies to remain relevant and deliver results. Responsible for ensuring Reporting is in place to support sales, including trending. Uses data analytics to assist with targeting members and creating offers and promotions to increase productivity.


Branch Hours: Monday - Friday 9:00AM to 5:00PM

*Based upon business needs, this position may require flexibility to work a varied work schedule, including evenings and rotating Saturdays.

Requirements

Minimum Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • 5+ years previous management experience.
  • 5+ years related financial institution experience including communicating and promoting corporate mission and vision, team and business development, sales process, data analytics, project management, coaching, mentoring, leading, problem solving, change management, and working through employment challenges.

Driving and Insurance Coverage Requirements

This role requires driving and must meet and maintain the following requirements:

  • Hold a valid CA state driver’s license in good standing that is not actively suspended, revoked, or restricted.
  • Have reliable personal transportation. Use of any means of public transportation or ridesharing services will not satisfy this requirement.
  • Must maintain state liability auto insurance coverage with a minimum of 30/60/15 limits on the vehicle that will be used for work.
  • Maintain a clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR).

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.

Skills and Abilities

  • Proficient knowledge & skills in using applicable MS Office programs (Outlook, Word, Excel, Power Point, and Power BI).
  • Must have thorough knowledge of Credit Union or financial institution services, products, procedures, and consumer and mortgage lending.
  • Requires the ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, with individuals and groups.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Responsible for ensuring each Channel’s leadership team has insight into sales performance, trends, and opportunities.
  • Monitors key performance metrics by channel (e.g., Branch and Member Care Center).
  • Creates, manages, and adjusts Sales Business Plan for the Operations Division.
  • Produces reports or ensures reports are produced, on time and accurately, for use in driving performance in the organization
  • Meets with key stakeholders to ensure needs for Sales are known and solutions are in place.
  • Produces monthly recognition, as defined and forwards to Channel Leadership, as appropriate, for delivery.
  • Works with Culture & Talent Development to ensure training needs are known and supported; Assists with design and delivery, as appropriate.
  • Conducts branch/department visits, leveraging feedback from team members to identify problems/pitfalls/gaps in process and/or product and, working with others, takes action to improve.
  • Makes recommendations for execution changes based on the condition of the team(s), needs of the credit union and the business climate.
  • Responsible for the processes of Goal finalization and Incentive Plan creation. Models plan, monitors execution and adjusts the plan, as needed.
  • Meets with SVP and other Senior Managers, as appropriate to evaluate progress of the Operations Division toward goals and adjust Sales plan
  • Designs, along with Channel Leadership, sales approach, and tools for team members to use when engaging Members
  • Ensures direct reports are provided oversight, training and development and are accountable for performance results
  • Works with Operations to ensure proper quality controls are built into the sales processes
  • Responsible for processes which deliver Member (Service Level Agreements) SLA’s
  • Solves problems for Members and team members which involve products and services and the delivery of same
  • Forges partnerships across business lines to get work done
  • Participates on work teams and projects, as needed.
  • Ensures a pipeline of Calls Lists is available for Member Outreach
  • Monitors and evaluates Outbound Call effectiveness
  • CO-Manages with Wealth Management the branch Licensed Bank Employee (LBE) program
  • Ensures full compliance with policies, procedures, and the Bank Secrecy Act
  • Complete understanding and active application the C.A.R.E. 4 Guide expectations and the Brand Communications Standards Accountability Philosophy.
  • Must be able and available to work a “hybrid” schedule, per business operations requirement, as needed.
  • Additional duties and responsibilities, as assigned.

Pay Scale: Min. $103,808.02 / Mid. $136,702.80 / Max. $165,442.68* per year

*Actual compensation will be based on geographical location, work experience, education and/or skill level.
