Bridge Engineer Intern

Our Transportation practice includes Bridge and Structural Engineering, Civil Engineering, Resident Engineering and Inspection, Bridge Inspection, and Geotechnical Engineering.  We specialize in analysis, design, evaluation, monitoring, and rehabilitation for a wide variety of transportation infrastructure projects. We offer a wide range of expertise to support client needs for both new and existing transportation structures.

The Role

We have an opportunity for an Engineer Intern for our Transportation Practice on our Bridge Team in Portland for the Summer of 2027.

What You'll Do

• Your day-to-day will have you working on designing projects or components of projects from conception through construction.
• Your daily tasks will have you conducting analyses, developing calculations, interpreting data, recognizing problems, and finding solutions.
• You will be guided by corporate quality control standards within your discipline.

What You'll Bring

• Pursuing an undergraduate in B.S. Civil or Structural Engineering. Master’s degree preferred.
• Excellent academic record.
• Experience in OpenRoads Designer is helpful but not required; familiarity with BIM is a plus.
