Cover Charge / Cashier

At Canad Inns, we are dedicated to providing our guests with exceptional service in a welcoming and professional environment. We are looking for a motivated and friendly individual to join our team as a Coat Check & Cover Charge Attendant. The primary purpose of the position is to offer to collect guest belongings, take the appropriate fee, and issue claim tickets while providing prompt, courteous and professional service.

Important Notice: This position is located in Brandon, MB

Key Responsibilities:

• Guest Service: Greet guests with a warm, polite attitude and provide excellent customer service at all times.
• Coat Check: Collect guest belongings such as coats, bags, and hats, and ensure all items are organized and stored securely.
• Fee Collection: Charge guests appropriately for coat check services, issue claim tickets, and maintain an accurate record of transactions.
• Lost Ticket Form: Fill in the Lost Ticket form as needed and ensure all claims are processed accurately.
• Ticket Sales: If of legal age, assist in ticket sales, provide change, and reconcile sales totals.
• Cleanliness & Organization: Ensure your work area is tidy, well-stocked with supplies (hangers, tickets, etc.), and properly set up for each shift.

Qualifications:

• Availability to work evenings, and weekends as required.
• Excellent personal hygiene and clean appearance.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Friendly, outgoing, and enjoy meeting new people.
• Strong problem-solving skills and a positive attitude.
• Ability to carry light loads and remain physically active throughout your shift.
• Basic math skills and familiarity with computer operations.
• Willing to learn, take direction, and follow procedures.
