Staff Nurse  - Minor Procedures and Dressing Clinic

Permanent 32 hours per week

The ideal candidate will meet the following requirements at a minimum:

· Registered general nurse with active NMBI registration.

· Minimum two years’ post-registration clinical experience.

· Experience in minor procedures, perioperative nursing or wound care (desirable).

· Wound management qualification or willingness to undertake relevant education.

· Excellent communication, organisational and time-management skills.

Key Responsibilities:

· Deliver safe, person-centred nursing care in accordance with NMBI professional standards.

· Assist with minor surgical procedures and provide peri-procedural nursing care.

· Assess, manage and evaluate acute, chronic and post-operative wound care and education.

· Promote continuity of care through coordinated follow-up and liaison with the multidisciplinary team.

· Participate in service development, audit, quality improvement and continuing professional development.

· Work in accordance with Bon Secours Health system policies and procedures, HIQA national standards and JCI Accreditation standards
