Description
A successful medical facility certainly includes a top-notch medical staff, but it starts with a core group of professionals that develop and implement clinical quality, performance improvement, and development initiatives. Our Medical Director of Quality within Franciscan manages these day-to-day operations, all while supporting and coordinating clinical performance improvement activities for our physicians and practices in each Division. It’s a job with a lot of hats and one that requires a strong personality to wear them.

WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT
- Develop and implement programs, initiatives, and improvement strategies, in coordination with the ambulatory quality council, to ensure consistency in compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and other governmental requirements.
- Review complaints, concerns, or questions relative to quality issues, and provide consultative leadership and support to practices and division personnel, as appropriate.
- Communicate and report progress on key clinical performance improvement activities and initiatives, in conjunction with the Quality Director and team, to the Franciscan Alliance Leadership team.
- Participate in investigations with risk, compliance, legal, privacy, and coding, as required.
- Provide ongoing education related to quality program initiatives, including education to Franciscan Physician Network coworkers and providers.
Qualifications
- Preferred Certificate Advanced Quality
- Required Doctorate MD/DO
- 5 years Medical/Surgical Required
- 2 years EPIC Required
- Board Certification (BRD CERT) - .
