Job Title: Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN).
Location: Mississippi (Multiple Regions Available).
Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to deliver high-quality patient care. In this role, you will administer prescribed medications and treatments, monitor patient physical and mental health conditions, maintain accurate documentation, and collaborate closely with healthcare staff, patients, and families.
Key Responsibilities:
- Administer prescribed medications and medical treatments according to standard nursing procedures.
- Monitor, evaluate, and report changes in patient physical and mental conditions.
- Maintain thorough patient documentation and reports utilizing electronic records.
- Communicate effectively with multidisciplinary team members, patients, and family members.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Education: High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Nursing Education: Successful completion of an accredited practical nursing program.
- Licensure: Valid, active Mississippi Practical Nurse (LPN) license in good standing.
- Experience: Minimum of 1 year of practicing experience as an LPN.
Certifications & Compliance:
- Active CPR certification.
- Annual tuberculosis (TB) screening.
- Mandatory background and abuse registry checks.
- Up-to-date vaccinations, including COVID-19 and annual influenza.
Schedule:
Flexible shift assignments across various service regions in Mississippi (including North Delta, Northeast, South Delta, East Central, Central, Pinebelt, Southwest, and Coastal).
