Job Description & Summary

The Opportunity

As an RMS - Intern, you will immerse yourself in the dynamic world of Risk and Compliance, specifically within our Actuarial Services. You will engage in projects that provide insights and analysis to help businesses manage risk, optimize financial performance, and make informed decisions, driving financial stability and growth. As an Intern, you will support teams by participating in projects, focusing on learning and gaining exposure to PwC's practices. You will perform basic tasks and conduct research while observing professional work environments, contributing to the team's success.

Within our Assurance practice, you will have the chance to develop your skills in a supportive environment, where you can apply a learning mindset and take ownership of your development. You will appreciate diverse perspectives and adopt habits to sustain performance and develop your potential. In this role, you will actively listen, ask questions to check understanding, and clearly express ideas. You will gather information from various sources to analyze facts and discern patterns, committing to understanding how the business works and building commercial awareness. Responsibilities

- Supporting teams in developing and validating risk models to manage financial and operational risks
- Participating in projects that involve complex data analysis to extract meaningful insights
- Assisting in the application of actuarial science to assess risk in various industries
- Engaging in financial risk analysis to evaluate uncertainties in financial decisions
- Contributing to the preparation and presentation of financial reports for decision-making
- Collaborating with team members to implement risk model solutions effectively
- Observing and learning from experienced professionals in the field of risk and compliance
- Applying statistical analysis software to interpret and present data findings
- Gathering information from diverse sources to analyze facts and discern patterns
- Taking initiative to ask questions and seek feedback for continuous learning and development

What You Must Have

- Currently pursuing or have completed a Bachelor's degree in one of the following fields of study: Actuarial Science, Mathematics,Statistics
- At least a 3.0 overall GPA
- Before starting full-time at PwC, meet the educational requirements and demonstrate a commitment to undertaking and passing actuarial exams
- Client service intern positions are considered entry-level roles. Candidates are typically in their third year of a four-year degree program or fourth year of a five-year program at the time of application

The salary range for this position is: $29.25 - $48.00. Actual compensation within the range will be dependent upon the individual's skills, experience, qualifications and location, and applicable employment laws.
