General Practice Dentist – Springfield, IL
A well-established dental practice is seeking a General Dentist to join its collaborative clinical team. The practice is committed to providing high-quality, patient-centered care in a welcoming environment while supporting professional growth and clinical excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive dental care to children and adults
- Diagnose and treat dental conditions
- Perform restorative dentistry, extractions, crowns, dentures, and prosthetic procedures
- Develop, present, and explain treatment plans
- Discuss treatment options and obtain informed consent
- Maintain accurate dental and medical records
- Follow applicable dental board, HIPAA, and OSHA requirements
- Provide leadership and direction to dental assistants and clinical support staff
- Promote a positive, collaborative patient-care environment
Qualifications
- DDS or DMD from an ADA/CDAC-accredited dental school
- Current or eligible dental license
- Ability to provide comprehensive general dentistry services
- Strong commitment to patient-centered care and clinical quality
- Strong treatment-planning and patient-education skills
- Experienced dentists and prospective graduates encouraged to apply
