Job Overview:
As a CSA Bartender, you will serve a large volume of patrons at live music events. You'll be responsible for providing excellent customer service, maintaining a clean and organized bar area, and ensuring responsible alcohol service. This role requires the ability to work quickly and efficiently under high-pressure conditions, often in an outdoor setting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve beverages (alcoholic and non-alcoholic) quickly and accurately to concert-goers.
- Prepare cocktails, pour draft beers, serve wine, and handle bottle service.
- Ensure that all patrons meet the legal age requirements for alcohol consumption by verifying IDs.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar, including replenishing ice, garnishes, and other necessary supplies.
- Handle cash and credit card transactions using a POS system.
- Maintain a high standard of customer service, even during busy periods.
- Adhere to health, safety, and sanitation guidelines, ensuring compliance with alcohol-serving laws.
- Monitor guest alcohol consumption, ensuring responsible drinking, and manage unruly guests when necessary.
- Collaborate with team members to keep the bar stocked and handle large crowds efficiently.
- Break down and clean up bar areas post-event.
Qualifications:
- Previous bartending experience (preferably in high-volume settings such as festivals, concerts, or sporting events).
- Strong understanding of cocktail recipes, beer, and wine.
- Ability to work long hours on your feet, including late nights and weekends.
- Must be 21 years of age or older.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work well under pressure and handle high-stress situations.
- TIPS certification (or similar responsible beverage service training) is preferred.
- Flexible availability, including weekends and holidays.
