Job Description Summary:
The Access Solutions Specialist is a dedicated Sales Operations resource supporting Fusion Connect’s Sales organization. This role serves as the primary subject matter expert for access and connectivity sourcing, pricing, and quoting activities.The Access Solutions Specialist partners closely with Sellers, Sales Engineers, carriers, and internal operational teams to deliver accurate, competitive, and timely connectivity solutions that enable revenue growth. This position is responsible for managing the end-to-end access quoting process, maintaining strategic carrier relationships, and driving operational excellence through improved quote turnaround times, accuracy, and partner/customer satisfaction.

Job Description:
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following (other duties may be assigned):
Access Sourcing & Solution Development
- Serve as the primary resource for all access and connectivity pricing requests.
- Source and price connectivity solutions including Dedicated Internet Access (DIA), Broadband, Ethernet, Fixed Wireless, Transport, SD-WAN underlay services, and other network access products.
- Evaluate multiple carrier options and recommend optimal solutions based on pricing, serviceability, customer requirements, and business objectives.
- Collaborate with Sales Engineering to ensure proposed solutions meet customer technical and operational requirements.
- Maintain expertise in carrier networks, access technologies, market pricing trends, and competitive positioning.
- Assist Sellers in identifying creative connectivity solutions to support complex customer opportunities.
Quote Management & Sales Support
- Manage the complete access quote lifecycle from request intake through quote delivery.
- Generate accurate and timely quotes utilizing Fusion Connect quoting tools, carrier portals, and internal systems.
- Ensure all quote requests meet established service-level objectives and quality standards.
- Maintain detailed documentation of quote activity, carrier responses, pricing assumptions, and customer requirements.
- Partner with Sellers to provide strategic pricing recommendations that maximize competitiveness while protecting company profitability.
- Support special pricing requests and assist with deal reviews as needed.
Carrier & Vendor Management
- Leverage established Vendor Relations and carrier escalation processes to support seller opportunities.
- Engage carriers to obtain pricing, serviceability, promotions, and non-standard solutions.
- Escalate carrier issues when necessary to support customer requirements and revenue objectives.
- Maintain awareness of carrier product changes, pricing programs, and market developments.
- Assist in evaluating carrier performance and identifying opportunities to improve sourcing efficiency.
Operational Excellence
- Continuously identify opportunities to improve quoting processes, reduce turnaround times, and enhance the partner and customer experience.
- Maintain data accuracy within Salesforce, quoting systems, and carrier management tools.
- Support reporting and analysis related to quote activity, turnaround times, carrier performance, and win rates.
- Partner with Sales Operations leadership on process improvement initiatives and operational best practices.
- Contribute to documentation, training materials, and knowledge-sharing resources related to access quoting
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Requirements:
- Strong understanding of telecommunications and connectivity solutions including DIA, Broadband, Ethernet, SD-WAN, Transport, Fixed Wireless, and related technologies.
- Knowledge of carrier ecosystems, quoting methodologies, and access procurement processes.
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to accuracy.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to build productive relationships with partners, vendors, and internal stakeholders.
- Proficiency with Salesforce, Microsoft Office Suite, carrier portals, and quoting platforms.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively across multiple departments.
Education and/or Experience Requirements:
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred.
- A minimum of five (5) years of telecommunications, connectivity, sales support, sales operations, quoting, or related experience.
- Experience sourcing and pricing access solutions across multiple carriers required.
- Experience supporting indirect sales channels, technology advisors, or partner organizations preferred.
- Strong understanding of telecom carrier pricing, serviceability, and provisioning considerations required.
