Cross Keys Village - The Brethren Home Community (CKV) is seeking a Receptionist to support our Personal Care team. In this role, you will be part of a welcoming workplace that values teamwork, compassion, and service, while enjoying a positive work environment rooted in Christian principles.

This position is on-call as needed and requires availability for day, evening, and weekend hours.

Job Description:

As an Personal Care Receptionist, your scope of responsibilities will include but is not limited to:

• Interacting with Residents, providing assistance as needed. 
• Answering multi-line telephone calls for the Personal Care Center, determining the nature of the call, directing the caller to the correct party or taking and relaying message. 
• Monitoring persons coming and going from the Personal Care Center. Greeting and directing visitors.
• Typing assignments or routine updates using Word, Excel. 
• Providing clerical assistance to Personal Care team members and residents.   

 

Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and experience with email is preferred.
• Customer service and experience working with older adults preferred.
• Must be able to communicate clearly verbally and in writing and maintain positive interactions.
