Floor Care Technician | Full-Time Nights

Greensburg, PA Area 

Safari Contract Cleaners is adding a full-time Floor Care Technician to our Greensburg-area team. This is a hands-on position for someone who enjoys seeing the immediate results of their work—from restoring hard-surface floors to refreshing carpets and maintaining clean, professional facilities.

Your primary responsibility will be completing scheduled floor care projects. On evenings when floor projects are not scheduled, you’ll provide general cleaning support at commercial accounts throughout the area.

A Quick Look at the Position

• Schedule: Monday through Friday

• Shift: 8-hour nighttime shifts; 4:30 pm to 12:30 am

• Hours: At least 40 hours per week

• Service area: Greensburg and surrounding communities

• Travel: Required between assigned customer locations

• Bonus opportunities: Available after three and six months

Your Night May Include

• Stripping and refinishing hard-surface floors

• Applying wax and other floor finishes

• Buffing and burnishing floors

• Performing carpet-cleaning services

• Safely operating floor machines and specialized equipment

• Preparing work areas and following account-specific instructions

• Inspecting completed work to ensure quality standards are met

• Keeping equipment clean and reporting maintenance or supply needs

• Traveling between commercial accounts in the Greensburg area

When floor care work is not scheduled, you’ll assist with tasks such as:

• Vacuuming and mopping

• Dusting and disinfecting surfaces

• Cleaning and sanitizing restrooms

• Emptying trash and replacing liners

• Completing other routine commercial cleaning duties

Who Will Succeed in This Role?

We’re looking for someone who is reliable, safety-conscious, and comfortable working independently. You should be able to stay organized, manage your time, and adapt to assignments at different customer locations.

Floor care or commercial cleaning experience is helpful, but it is not required. We’re prepared to train a dependable candidate who is willing to learn.

Because assignments take place at multiple locations, reliable transportation is required.
