We have an exciting opportunity for a Registered Nurse to join our fast paced surgical unit specialising in orthopedics, plastics and vascular surgery, on the 6th Floor at our Fitzroy campus.

ABOUT YOU:
Your skills will include:
Well developed clinical and problem-solving skills in the acute care setting
Dedicated to providing outstanding patient care
Have demonstrated experience working in an acute hospital surgical unit
Hold a current AHPRA registration
You will demonstrate an aptitude for:
Delivery of patient centred care that coordinates individualised care from admission and throughout hospitalisation, incorporating discharge planning in the plan of care
Facilitating communication between the patient, family, medical, nursing, ancillary, and allied health staff
Initiating referrals and utilises available resources for the purpose of comprehensive care to patients and families
