- A CURRENT OR ACTIVE SECURITY CLEARANCE WITH POLY IS REQUIRED.
- Fourteen (14) years experience as a SWE in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity is required. Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline from an accredited college or university is required.
- Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline from an accredited college or university is required. Five (5)+ years of additional Software Engineer experience may be substituted for a bachelor’s degree.
- ELEVI requires an experienced developer to deliver a customer facing product to a widespread user base. Must have experience using Jira to create and monitor tickets. This role will have direct customer interaction, including product demonstrations, and daily scrum meetings to convey current status of progress. The ideal candidate will also possess knowledge PULSE / ABACUS, and an understanding of the current modernization efforts to include Report Authoring & Dissemination (RAD).
- Required Skills:
• Experience with Java, preferably version 21 or greater
• Experience with Docker, including creating images and keeping them free of vulnerabilities
• Experience with any modern JavaScript framework, with a preference towards VUE.JS - Desired Skills:
• Experience building and publishing Sprint Boot Rest APIs
• Experience with eVo including integrating with Greybox, Mockito, or other methods of performing low side development that will integrate with high side infrastructure
• Experience with Bash scripting and other Linux based tools
Some of the day-to-day activities
- Work with a team to gather information and design/create/configure tools for monitoring.
- Develops, maintains, and enhances complex and diverse software systems (e.g., processing-intensive analytics, novel algorithm development, manipulation of extremely large data sets, real-time systems, and business management information systems) based upon documented requirements
- Works individually or as part of a team.
- Reviews and tests software components for adherence to the design requirements and documents test results
- Resolves software problem reports. Utilizes software development and software design methodologies appropriate to the development environment
- Provides specific input to the software components of system design to include hardware/software trade- offs, software reuse, use of Commercial Off-the-shelf (COTS)/Government Off-the-shelf (GOTS) in place of new development, and requirements analysis and synthesis from system level to individual software components.
