Northrop Grumman Defense Systems (NGDS) is seeking a Systems Engineer to join the IFC Analysis Team supporting the development of mission-critical defense systems. This role focuses on systems analysis and software support for computing platforms that enable next-generation capabilities. The successful candidate will work across software, hardware, cybersecurity, specialty engineering, and program leadership to troubleshoot issues, support integration activities, perform systems performance analysis, and help ensure reliable system performance throughout the system lifecycle.
This requisition may be filled based on qualifications listed below:
Primary Responsibilities
- Develop System Analysis Tools
- Evaluate System performance and functionality
- Perform Root Cause Analysis
- Collaborate with Software Developers on system performance and functionality
- Support Agile development using JIRA, Confluence, and configuration management tools.
Basic Qualifications:
- Engineer Systems (Level 2): 2 years with Bachelors in Science; 0 Years with Masters;
- Experience working within Agile software development teams.
- Active Secret Security Clearance to Start.
- Software development experience using C++, Python, or Java.
Preferred Qualifications
- IBCS, C2, and Link16 Experience
- Experience with LTAMDS, Aegis, THAAD, PATRIOT, and Sentinel Systems
- Linux knowledge
- Experience with Git, GitLab, Jenkins, or CI/CD pipelines.
- Experience supporting Department of Defense weapon systems or mission systems.
