Job Summary
The Production Associate II (PA II) is a dual-rate position responsible for supporting daily manufacturing and production operations while
serving as a designated Production Lead when operational needs require. Under normal operating conditions, the Production Associate II
performs standard production duties, ensuring products are manufactured safely, efficiently, and in accordance with quality standards.
In the event of staffing shortages, employee absences, outages, training needs, or other operational disruptions, the Production Associate II
may be temporarily assigned to perform Production Lead responsibilities, including directing workflow, coordinating team activities,
communicating production priorities, and supporting the achievement of safety, quality, delivery, and productivity objectives.
Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities
· Perform production and assembly operations in accordance with established work instructions and quality standards.
· Operate manufacturing equipment and tools safely and efficiently.
· Inspect products to ensure compliance with quality requirements.
· Maintain accurate production records and documentation.
· Follow all safety, environmental, and company policies and procedures.
· Support continuous improvement initiatives and process enhancements.
· Maintain a clean and organized work area in accordance with 5S standards.
· Collaborate with team members to achieve daily production goals.
· Assist with cross-training and onboarding activities as assigned.
· Provide guidance, support, and training to production employees.
· Assist in resolving production issues, bottlenecks, and material shortages.
· Monitor safety, quality, and productivity performance and escalate concerns as needed.
· Partner with supervisors and management to ensure operational objectives are achieved.
· Support staffing adjustments, work assignments, and shift coverage needs.
· Facilitate effective communication between team members and management.
· Promote a positive work environment and encourage teamwork and accountability.
Education and Experience
· High school diploma or equivalent required.
· Prior manufacturing or production experience preferred.
· Demonstrated leadership potential and ability to influence and support team performance.
· Strong interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills.
· Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
· Basic computer skills and familiarity with production documentation.
· Ability to follow written and verbal instructions with attention to detail.
· Demonstrated commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement
Skills and Abilities
· High school diploma or equivalent.
· Prior manufacturing or production experience preferred.
· Demonstrated leadership potential and ability to influence and support team performance.
