Overview
As a Technician III at Sunstate Equipment Co., you'll perform maintenance and repairs on heavy construction equipment in both shop and field settings. Your responsibilities include diagnosing and repairing electrical and hydraulic systems, servicing diesel engines (including Tier 4 and aftertreatment systems), performing major and minor repairs on diesel and gas engines, and conducting routine maintenance tasks. You'll also perform basic welding repairs (MIG & SMAW), inspect and test equipment for performance, and maintain accurate records of all maintenance and repair work. This position requires 2-3+ years of experience as a diesel mechanic, preferably with construction equipment, and you must have your own tools valued at $5,000+.
