Job Description:

At Cambria, we take care of our people by offering a great workplace with excellent benefits. On the job, you will enjoy an exceptionally clean, climate controlled environment, paid lunch breaks, a shift differential pay for certain shifts and/or jobs, and Cambria uniforms and boots. Your health and future are covered with medical and dental insurance, life and disability coverage, and a 401(k) with an immediate company match. We also offer paid time off, paid holidays, an Employee Assistance Program, tuition reimbursement,  opportunities for advancement, and an employee referral program.

While the initial focus will be mastering the day-to-day safety operations, this role is a deliberate launchpad for a seasoned safety professional ready to transition from managing compliance to leading strategy. Your Path to Leadership

In this role, you won't just execute policies; you will build the systems that protect our people.  Your evolution will include:

  • Operational Delivery: Ensure on-time, high-quality delivery of safety projects to the Operations team.

  • Training & Motivation: Educate and inspire line supervision and production personnel in specialized safety topics and safe work procedures.

  • Field Engagement: Maintain a high-visibility presence on the manufacturing floor to seek input from employees and plant leaders on program improvements.

  • Clinical Coordination: Oversee occupational medical exams, including respiratory fit testing and hearing conservation audiograms.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Regulatory Mastery: Deep, comprehensive knowledge of OSHA regulations for General Industry, with specific expertise in Lock-out-tag-out, respirators, and confined spaces

  • Analytical Builder: You are proficient with data tools (Google Suite, pivot tables) and can translate charts into compelling safety narratives.

  • Bilingual (Preferred): Ability to communicate fluently in English and Spanish to lead a diverse workforce.

  • Critical Thinking: Advanced critical thinking, troubleshooting, and root-cause analysis skills backed by strong data evaluation capabilities.

  • Resilient: You thrive in fast-paced environments and can adapt your leadership style as strategy and circumstances shift.

  • Communication: Exceptional direct communication skills and the ability to influence cross-functional teams.

  • Urgency: Strong sense of urgency in mitigating risks and completing safety initiatives.

  • Attention to Detail: High attention to detail and rigorous execution standards.

  • Independent: Highly self-motivated and capable of working both independently as a strategist and collaboratively as a team leader.

Minimum Requirements:

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Safety, Environmental, Ergonomics or a related field highly preferred. Professional certifications (e.g., CSP, ASP, or CIH) are highly desirable.

Experience: You have 5+ years of progressive responsibility in safety, with at least 3 years in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
