Summary:
- Provide 24-Hour Emergency Response: Must be available to respond within 30 minutes of notification during regularly scheduled working hours, or 60 minutes after hours, to secure and relieve emergency personnel of temporary traffic control (TTC) functions within fifteen (15) minutes of arriving onsite.
- Must be available for 24-Hour On-Call Duties.

- Must be able to work full-time, 40 hours per week, with the required 24-hour availability for on-call and emergency call-back duties, availability to a fluctuating work schedule, which may vary depending on our clients’ needs and the task at hand, while maintaining a good attendance record, by being responsible and committed to coming to work daily. Crew members are required to report to the Okeechobee yard at the start of each shift and will travel to job sites in Martin County using company-provided vehicles, with no overnight stays required.
- Demonstrate to be knowledgeable of highway maintenance principles and practices, while demonstrating excellent leadership, management, planning, and administration experience.
- Perform typical roadway maintenance activities including the use of tools and operation of equipment supplied by AIMM and other equipment utilized in performing the activities defined in the scope of work, while performing the day-to-day activities of Field Crews, as directed by supervisor, crew leader, or designee. Employees must adhere to all applicable federal, state, and local regulations, as well as any AIMM Company policies and procedures.
- Follow all AIMM Policies and Safety protocols, including executing work zone traffic control according to FDOT Design Standards 600 series, while using the proper PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) at all times.
- Adhere to all company policies, processes, and procedures.
- AIMM provides its employees with Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), at the company's expense, except for steel-toe boots, which MUST be worn at all times, regardless of the presence of a hazard and meet OSHA requirements; must have leather upper, must have oil resistant and non-skid soles, and must comply with ASTM 2413-05 with an impact resistance rating of 75 and a compression resistance rating of 75.
- Per OSHA General Requirements [1910.132(h)(2)] AIMM is not required to pay for non-specialty safety toe protective footwear, including steel-toe boots, and non-specialty prescription safety eyewear, as AIMM permits such items to be worn off the job site for personal use.
- AIMM employees are responsible for purchasing their own steel-toe boots or prescription safety eyewear.
- Ensure that company vehicles and equipment being utilized are cleaned and maintained properly on a regular basis.
- Manage and maintain inventory of any equipment, materials, stockpiles, etc.
- Company vehicle usage is for company-related business purposes only, as approved and directed by upper management, and will only be authorized to be parked after business hours at our clients’ premises.
- Please ensure your safety, the safety of your team, and the traveling public, by enforcing using common sense by all team members, while following safe driving practices such as; staying focus while driving any company vehicles, avoid distractions, stay awake/alert and never use a phone or any other electronic devices while driving or while being a front seat passenger/ co-pilot, never drive a company vehicle under the influence of any drugs/alcohol or any prescribed medications that prohibits driving, never smoke/vape inside a company vehicle, use a seatbelt at all times, avoid going over the legal speed limit, obey all traffic laws, traffic signals, traffic signs, etc.

- Travel is not anticipated but may be required up to 5%, as you may be occasionally required to travel to various project locations, AIMM’s corporate meetings or other events, as needed basis.

- Ability to work outdoors in extreme weather conditions, being exposed to a loud work environment with moderate to high noise levels, being in high places or confined space, drive, stand and walk for extended periods of time, frequently on uneven ground, while being able to lift up to, but not limited to, 50 lbs., bend, carry, climb, grasp, kneel, lift, pull, push, sit, squat, reach overhead, stand, and twist.
- Must have a valid driver license and reliable transportation, while being responsible and committed to come to work on a daily basis.
- Ability to drive company trucks. (No CDL license required but preferred).
- Ability to clearly communicate orally and written in English while demonstrating strong written and verbal communication skills.

- For drivers 23 years old and older: No more than 2 moving violations, 1 at-fault accident; or no more than 1 at-fault and 1 moving violation within the last three years.
- Drivers 70 years old and older must provide a medical certificate.
- No driver may have any major convictions within the last five-year period.
- For any vehicles requiring a Commercial Driver's License: Drivers must have a minimum of 1 year with appropriate CDL and experience driving similar vehicles to those scheduled.
- Drivers must have a valid driver's license for at least 2 years from the date of issue.
