Job Description

As a Test Engineer Assistant at MTB, you will support engineering teams in monitoring performance-to-plan, executing improvement initiatives, and maintaining stable and efficient test operations. This role focuses on strong execution, data tracking, and collaboration across teams.

Key Responsibilities

1\. Performance Monitoring & Support

Support the development and maintenance of frameworks to monitor engineering performance to plan

Track and report actual performance against targets and forecasts

Assist in identifying performance gaps and supporting corrective actions

2\. Cycletime / Cost / Quality Improvement

Support initiatives to improve test cycletime, cost efficiency, and product quality

Collect and analyze data related to key performance drivers

Participate in improvement projects led by senior engineers

Assist in implementation and follow-up tracking of improvement actions

3\. Test Process & Continuous Improvement

Maintain working knowledge of Test processes, equipment, and systems

Support execution of continuous improvement projects to enhance efficiency and productivity

Perform basic analysis on test efficiency and productivity data

Assist in documenting and standardizing best practices

4\. Production & Qualification Support

Support product test proliferation and production readiness activities

Assist in validating production readiness and test setup

Support execution of qualification and validation runs

5\. Excursion & Quality Support

Assist in excursion management and containment activities

Support deviation material handling and disposition execution

Help verify system setup for test disposition flows

6\. Cross-functional Collaboration

Work closely with planning, manufacturing, and engineering teams to support daily test operations

Participate in operational reviews and provide data-driven updates

Support issue investigation and root cause analysis guided by senior engineers

Assist in implementing corrective and preventive actions
