The Quality Control Team Leader is responsible for day-to-day quality control operations in an automotive manufacturing environment. - High School diploma or equivalent required
- $22.63 base rate; increases every 6 months for first 36 months to $29.65
- $2.00 Shift Premium on 2nd and a $1.50 Shift Premium for 3rd shifts

Responsibilities
Expectations- Accomplish day-to-day tactical objectives in support of company and department goals. Demonstrates adherence to company policies and procedures in support of safety, quality, delivery, cost and morale (SQDCM) initiatives. Responsibilities-
- Investigate all Mobis and Supplier related issues as they reported. Provide clean points and initial containment activity
- Line calls; walk backs, initiate sorts
- Daily OS&D
- Daily Shift Report
- Daily Shift Audits
- Weekly Training
- Follow and enforce all safety rules and PPE requirements.
- Knowledge of safety equipment.
- Knowledgeable of all Quality Control work standards.
- As a Quality Team Leader help prevent OEM down time due to shipping defective product
- Understand the assembly process related to Mobis Georgia modules.
- Understanding of module function (Chassis, Cockpit, FEM, Bumper)
- Practice 5S in the assigned work area. Keep the workstations clean and organized.
- Following all work orders and instruction given by the Supervisor and Management
- Continuous application of education material
- Must provide daily written reports to the Mobis Quality Team as requested by Management.
- Participate as a part of the Quality Team; Teamwork is essential.
- Other tasks as assigned.
Qualifications
Education, Skills, and/or Experience Required:
- High school diploma/GED required.
- 3+ years of experience in quality control
- 3+ years of experience in manufacturing/automotive environment
- Good verbal, written, & computer communication skills
- The ability to follow documented procedures and work standards
- The ability to pay attention to work detail
- The ability to keep accurate records
- The ability to work under pressure
- The ability to work independently
