Located in Grand Prairie, TX, Conlan Tire is a premier Continental Life Cycle dealer. We are an industry leader in commercial tire service and retread manufacturing.

We are in search of an experienced Facility Maintenance Manager to manage all preventative and routine maintenance needed for our equipment.

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

Multi-skilled industrial equipment repair in an automotive environment of at least 8-10 years preferred. 5+ years supervisory experience preferred. Experience establishing and enforcing preventative maintenance programs, trouble shooting equipment failures and capability to review and understand schematics.

MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Provide hands on management of installation, preventive maintenance and repair/improvement of plant equipment.
• Use of the Lockout/Tag out procedures to ensure safe repair/maintenance on machines/equipment
• Maintain and continuously improve use of the preventive maintenance program.
• Read and interpret schematics/equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance and service.
• Diagnose problems, replace or repair parts, test and make adjustments.
• Assure all safety regulations are followed and maintain clean and orderly work areas.
• Research, design and implement new technology to improve equipment performance and quality to the customer.
• Identification of failed component and ordering replacement parts

ADDITIONAL KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

• Strong decision making ability and problem-solving skills.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills required. Effective listener and open to the ideas of others, an instrument for change. Maintain strict confidentiality including, but not limited to, managing confidentiality of any proprietary business-related information.
• Proficiency with MS Office products desired.
• Multi-skilled industrial equipment repair in an automotive environment of at least 8-10 years preferred with 5+ years of supervisory experience
• Must be able to lift 70lbs.
• Must be able to stand, walk, and climb ladders for most of a shift.
• Strong understanding and support of continuous improvement.
• Strong knowledge of PLC, pneumatic and hydraulic design and repair.
• Demonstrated experience in mechanical, electrical and industrial fabrication. Customer oriented and results driven
