Main Responsibilities
1. Identify, approach, and secure new business opportunities in the shipping and logistics sector.
2. Maintain strong relationships with existing clients to ensure customer satisfaction and long-term cooperation
3. Prepare proposals, quotations, and negotiate terms of business agreements in line with company policies.
4. Analyze market trends, competitors, and customer needs to support business growth strategies.
5. Coordinate operation activities with relevan stackholders to ensure smooth and timely execution of shipments.
6. Provide accurate and timely sales reports, pipeline updates, and target achievement reports to management.
7. Handle customer inquiries and complaints with effective and practical solutions.
General Responsibilities
1. Ensure the implementation of an Integrated Management System, including the identification, documentation, and control of risks in the relevant department's work area.
2. Foster and ensure the commitment of every team member to understand and adhere to all applicable Integrated Management System requirements.
3. Be willing to participate in the investigation process of accidents, incidents, or actions that may lead to incidents caused by unsafe actions or unsafe conditions, including providing accurate information and reports based on known facts.
4. Be willing to engage in the information security control process applied to protect the information assets and information processing assets owned and/or managed by the Company from threats to confidentiality, integrity, and availability.
Requirements:
1. Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Shipping Management, Logistics, or a related field.
2. Minimum 2–3 years of experience in Sales/Marketing within shipping, freight forwarding, or logistics.
3. Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
4. Target-oriented and able to work under pressure.
5. Proficiency in English (both written and spoken); other foreign languages are an advantage.
6. Solid understanding of shipping operations (Export-Import, Liner, Feeder, Customs Clearance, Container Tracking, B/L, Manifest, Port Operation).
7. Ability to bridge client requirements with operational capabilities.
8. Knowledge of basic costing & pricing in shipping (freight rates, terminal handling, trucking, stuffing/stripping).
9. Problem-solving mindset with the ability to provide realistic solutions to customer operational issues.
10. Willing to be placed in Muara Sabak/Jambi.
