Job Description:

Responsible for the technical inspection, maintenance, and defect management of roofs and roofing systems across the property portfolio. The role focuses on identifying structural issues, managing repairs and warranty claims, ensuring quality standards, and supporting long-term roof asset management.

Employee Duties and Responsibilities

• Conducting regular technical inspections of roofs, roofing systems, and related structures within the company’s portfolio;

• Identifying the causes of water ingress, waterproofing system failures, and other structural defects;

• Assessing the technical condition of roofs and proposing measures to rectify identified defects;

• Preparing long-term roof revitalization plans (CAPEX);

• Resolving warranty claims and technical defects in cooperation with general contractors, subcontractors, and roofing system manufacturers;

• Quality control of repairs, remediation works, and warranty-related interventions;

• Overseeing compliance with technical standards, technological procedures, and project documentation requirements;

• Organizing technical inspections, testing, and acceptance of repairs and construction work;

• Managing technical and warranty documentation related to roofs;

• Recording, reporting, and analyzing claims and defects within internal systems;

• Preparing technical reports, inspection protocols, and recommendations for the property owner;

• Collaborating with the Construction, Procurement, and Legal departments to resolve technical issues;

• Coordinating external specialists, inspection companies, and contractors during defect diagnostics and remediation; • Preparation of documentation for repairs, tenders, and price quotations related to roofs and building envelopes.

Required Candidate Profile

• Experience in roofing, waterproofing, building structures, or construction supervision;

• Knowledge of roofing systems (PVC, TPO, FPO, bituminous membranes, etc.);

• Ability to diagnose the causes of leaks and structural defects;

• Familiarity with project documentation and technical standards;

• Ability to work independently, technical mindset, and ability to implement corrective measures;

• Willingness to travel within the Czech Republic.
