SCOPE & CONTACTS:
Under the general supervision of the Regional President, this individual would provide executive support with exceptional organizational skills to executive management, have frequent contact with business and community professionals, bank customers, as well as frequent contact with other departments. This individual is involved in the preparation of Board of Director meetings, manages preparation and scheduling of the Director Loan Committee meetings and Executive Officer Committee meetings, as well as gathers applicable reports for presentment and prepares the minutes. The individual is responsible for credit administration of loan presentments and approvals, prepares expense reports and marketing reports for the Regional President. The position requires independent thinking and problem resolution. Must exercise good human relations and customer service skills at all times. Professional and customer contact is face‑to‑face, by telephone and written correspondence. Due to the experience and proficiency level of this job, this individual receives only general supervision and instructions; however, results of work are reviewed. Physical effort required is average.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- This individual performs administrative duties that include: composing letters, typing, researching information, greeting visitors, keeping executive’s schedules, arranging travel, proofreading reports, filtering calls and visitors, event management, answering customer questions, being proactive and ensuring the office runs smoothly, and handling special projects as assigned.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- High school graduate and a minimum of five (5) years’ administrative/executive secretarial experience required.
- A bachelor’s degree in business or a related discipline is preferred.
- Excellent computer skills as well as proficiency Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook are required.
- Experience using office equipment a must.
- Qualities most important to this position are: ability to maintain confidentiality is of high importance, reliability, integrity, initiative, customer relation skills, flexibility, speed, multi-tasking, ability to work under deadlines and work well under stress.
- Professional demeanor is extremely important.
- Requires strong background in communication, math, general business and banking documentation.
- Data entry and typing skills must be above average (60 – 70 wpm).
- Must be proficient in grammar, punctuation, written and verbal communication skills.
- Must be able to work well with customers, bank directors, community contacts, vendors, and co‑workers.
