What You'll Be Doing
- Perform routine maintenance, inspection, and repair of plant machinery and equipment
- Troubleshoot mechanical issues to support safe, reliable, and efficient operations
- Assist with preventive maintenance activities to minimize downtime
- Follow safety procedures and actively support a strong safety culture
- Complete maintenance documentation and communicate equipment conditions clearly
What Are We Looking For
- Demonstrated mechanical aptitude with the capability to diagnose and repair industrial equipment
- Working knowledge of mechanical systems, maintenance tools, and shop practices
- Ability to safely follow procedures, instructions, and safety standards
- Strong teamwork and communication skills in an operational environment
- Openness to learning, skill development, and adapting to changing priorities
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, climb, and work in confined spaces for extended periods
- Capability to lift, push, and pull materials and equipment weighing up to 50 pounds, with or without reasonable accommodation
- Manual dexterity sufficient to use hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment
- Ability to visually inspect equipment and read gauges, schematics, and documentation
- Capacity to wear required personal protective equipment (PPE) for extended periods
Conditions of Employment
- Successful candidate must submit to post-offer pre-employment physical examination, drug screen, and background check
- Some positions require FMCSA regulated ongoing drug and alcohol testing
Work Environment
- Role operates primarily in environments where the conditions include moving mechanical equipment, inclement weather, heat, cold, humidity, and elevated noise level.
