Description

Transform lives, every single day

Do you want a career that means more? At Anglicare Sydney, we bring the strength, the support and the strategy to make it happen.

We're a well-respected not-for-profit that's been serving society's most vulnerable for over 170 years. Each year, we achieve life-changing outcomes for the 40,000+ people who rely on our person-centred support. And now, we're extending our reach and impact even further.

As our OOHC Business Administrator, you'll play an important role in supporting the smooth and effective delivery of our Permanency Support Program (PSP), providing the administrative and business support that enables our teams to focus on delivering meaningful outcomes.

You'll bring your organisation, attention to detail and problem-solving skills to a varied role where your contribution helps strengthen the services we provide to children, young people and families.

Be welcomed into a compassionate, respectful and purpose-driven community where we don't just talk about values – we live them.

Your opportunity

Reporting to the OOHC Business Administration Manager, you'll provide high-quality administrative and business support across our Permanency Support Program.

You'll work closely with Community Services teams, internal stakeholders and external organisations to ensure business processes, reporting and day-to-day administrative activities are completed accurately and efficiently.

From coordinating business activities and maintaining records to supporting reporting and improving processes, you'll help keep our programs organised, compliant and running smoothly.

With integrity and compassion, you will:

  • Deliver accurate and timely program administration, including procurement, invoicing, reconciliations, payroll support and event coordination.
  • Maintain business systems, records and processes to support efficient day-to-day operations.
  • Assist with data collection, operational reporting and compliance requirements for internal stakeholders and funding bodies.
  • Build effective working relationships and communicate professionally with internal teams and external stakeholders while maintaining confidentiality.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives that strengthen administrative processes, systems and service delivery.

What you'll bring

You're an organised, detail-oriented administrator who takes pride in keeping things running smoothly behind the scenes.

You'll enjoy working in a collaborative environment, balancing competing priorities and finding practical solutions to everyday challenges.

With strong communication skills and confidence using technology, you'll be comfortable working across multiple teams, maintaining accurate information and supporting a range of business activities.

What's required

  • Previous experience providing administrative or business support.
  • Strong organisational skills, attention to detail and ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines.
  • Demonstrated ability to build and maintain effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Confidence using complex business systems and technology applications.
  • Strong communication, problem-solving and teamwork skills, together with a current driver’s licence.

You'll also share our organisational values of integrity, justice, compassion and excellence, embedding them in everything you do.

The successful candidate will be required to satisfy relevant pre-employment checks, including a Police Check and Working with Children Check.
