  • Identify and resolve missing scans, data mismatches, incorrect routing information, and shipment visibility gaps.
  • Support timely feeder dispatches and operational cutoffs by ensuring shipment data is complete and accurate.
  • Team Supervision and Performance Management
  • Supervise and allocate daily tasks to Data Management staff based on operational volume and priorities.
  • Monitor productivity, accuracy, attendance, and compliance with established procedures.
  • Provide coaching, training, and performance feedback to team members.
  • Ensure adequate staffing and effective shift handovers to maintain operational continuity.
  • Exception Management and Problem Resolution
  • Investigate shipment data discrepancies and incorrect exception-code applications.
  • Coordinate with operational supervisors and relevant departments to resolve shipment issues promptly.

  • Escalate critical system issues, shipment visibility problems, and data integrity risks to management.
  • Compliance and Process Improvement
  • Ensure compliance with UPS policies, standard operating procedures, security requirements, and data-handling standards.
  • Maintain accurate records, reports, and audit documentation.
  • Conduct regular quality checks and support operational audits.
  • Recommend process improvements to reduce data errors, improve productivity, and strengthen shipment traceability.
  • Reporting and Cross-Functional Coordination
  • Prepare daily and periodic reports on data accuracy, shipment exceptions, scan compliance, productivity, and outstanding issues.
  • Coordinate with Hub Sort, Air Operations, Dispatch, and other stakeholders to align system information with actual shipment movements.
  • Communicate operational risks and unresolved discrepancies to the appropriate management team.
  • Support service-performance initiatives through timely and reliable operational data.

Your Skills & Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, Logistics, or a related field; equivalent relevant experience may be considered.
  • Experience in logistics, warehouse operations, shipment processing, or data management.
  • Previous supervisory or team leadership experience preferred.
Knowledge of shipment tracking systems, scanning processes, exception management, and operational reporting.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other reporting or data-processing tools.
