An Omega Sales Agent guides prospective buyers through showings, negotiations, contracting, and closings on Omega Builders’ homes. The primary duty of the position is making sales. The role is based primarily at model homes rather than Omega’s corporate offices, and regularly requires weekend and evening hours to meet with buyers during peak traffic periods.
Essential Duties
- Meets or exceeds monthly/annual sales goals
- Maintains accurate, up-to-date records of all customer communications, showings, and transactions in the company CRM.
- Prepares, reviews, and coordinates the signing of new home contracts, change orders, and related sales documentation accurately and in compliance with company and legal requirements
- Coordinates with preferred/in-house lenders to help guide buyers through financing options and loan qualification
- Generates new sales leads and follows up on existing leads in a timely manner
- Conducts in-person and video presentations to buyers and potential buyers
- Builds and maintains relationships with customers, real estate agents, and other stakeholders
- Collaborates with the marketing team to develop and execute marketing campaigns and initiatives
- Proactively develops sales strategies and pursues ongoing professional education
- Provides regular sales and pipeline reports to the Sales Manager using company CRM reporting tools
- Maintains current expert knowledge of Omega's communities, homes, construction process, finance and closing procedures
- Collaborates with fellow sales agents within Omega’s commission structure to connect buyers with the home and community that best meet their needs, referring buyers to another agent when appropriate to support customer satisfaction and shared sales success.
- Coordinates and communications with the Construction and Warranty teams throughout the building process and after closing to ensure a smooth buyer experience from start to finish
- Responsible for maintaining the interior and exterior condition of the model home and completed on-site inventory homes.
- Responsible for ensuring accurate, up-to-date sales collateral is displayed in homes and other designated areas.
- Manages Sales Assistant(s) daily activity
- All other duties as assigned
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
- Excellent listening and verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to understand customer needs and set clear, realistic expectations.
- Strong attention to detail when preparing and reviewing contracts and sales documentation, ensuring accuracy and adherence to established processes.
- Ability to make timely, well-informed decisions, think independently, and recognize when verification or approval is needed.
- Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to take ownership of issues and follow through to resolution.
- Proficiency with HubSpot or comparable CRM platforms for managing leads, accurately documenting communications, tracking follow-up, and reporting.
- Proficiency in preparing accurate contracts using a dedicated ERP system.
- Self-starter who demonstrates initiative, persistence, and consistent effort toward achieving goals.
- Quick learner who welcomes feedback and applies new knowledge to improve performance.

Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Previous new home sales experience preferred
- Previous experience with HubSpot or a comparable CRM platform strongly preferred
- Previous experience writing contracts using a dedicated ERP system strongly preferred
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required
