Role Overview
The Project/Program Manager plays a critical role in driving strategic and operational initiatives for the Global Capability Center (GCC). The role focuses on enabling executive decision-making through structured governance, financial analysis, cross-functional program management, and stakeholder alignment across global leadership teams.
This role partners closely with global leadership, engineering teams, HR, finance, and vendors to ensure operational excellence while supporting the strategic growth of the GCC within the healthcare and oncology ecosystem.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Program Management
- Drive strategic initiatives across the GCC aligned with global organizational priorities.
- Translate leadership vision into executable programs, milestones, and measurable outcomes.
- Identify opportunities for operational optimization, cost efficiency, and organizational scalability.
- Support long-term GCC strategy, growth planning, and operational maturity.
Executive Governance & Leadership Engagement
- Lead preparation and management of Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs) with global leadership.
- Coordinate and manage Steering Committee (SteerCo) meetings, ensuring actionable insights and decision readiness.
- Develop executive-ready presentations, dashboards, and insights for senior stakeholders.
- Track progress against strategic initiatives and ensure leadership visibility.
Financial Analysis & Cost Optimization
- Perform budget planning, financial forecasting, and cost analysis for GCC operations.
- Analyze vendor vs in-house cost structures to support strategic sourcing decisions.
- Develop financial models to support workforce planning, vendor engagement, and operational investments.
- Monitor operational spend and highlight opportunities for ROI maximization and cost efficiency.
Cross-Functional Program Delivery
- Manage multiple programs across engineering, operations, HR, IT infrastructure, and vendor management.
- Ensure alignment between global stakeholders and local GCC teams.
- Track program timelines, dependencies, and risks to ensure delivery commitments are met.
- Implement governance frameworks to maintain execution discipline.
Vendor & Partner Management
- Coordinate with external vendors for infrastructure, services, and operational initiatives.
- Monitor vendor performance against SLAs, deliverables, and timelines.
- Support vendor evaluation, negotiation discussions, and cost benchmarking exercises.
Operational Excellence
- Establish structured processes to improve delivery visibility, execution efficiency, and accountability.
- Drive operational cadence including weekly leadership updates, project reviews, and status reporting.
- Implement risk management frameworks to proactively mitigate operational challenges.
- Enable continuous improvement using Lean, Six Sigma, or Agile-based methodologies where applicable.
GCC Growth & Organizational Enablement
- Support leadership in scaling the GCC through workforce planning and operational readiness.
- Drive collaboration across engineering, business, and corporate functions.
- Enable transparency across workstreams to ensure cohesive organizational execution.

Ideal Background
- MBA or relevant certifications (PMP, PgMP, Agile, SAFe) preferred
- 8+ years of experience in project/program management within GCC, healthcare, or enterprise environments
- Experience working with Global Capability Centers (GCCs) or global delivery organizations
- Exposure to healthcare, life sciences, or oncology ecosystem
- Strong experience managing strategic programs and executive governance
