Lithography QC 팀 – QC Analytical Engineer

Qnity의 Litho QC팀에서는 Analytical Engineer 선발을 위한 절차를 진행합니다. 후보자는 Litho 사업부에서 생산하는 제품 또는 사용되는 원료에 대한 품질 분석을 위한 분석법의 이관 및 개선, 검증, 분석 절차 수립 등의 업무를 수행합니다. 해당 엔지니어는 팀원들과 협력하여 실험실을 깨끗하고 안전하게 관리하고, 제품 및 원료 등을 포함한 기타 테스트 샘플이 분석 될 수 있도록 교육 및 분석 업무를 진행합니다.

해당 엔지니어는 모든 종류의 EHS 지침 및 직무 교육을 철저히 준수하여 안전하게 작업하고 샘플을 올바르게 테스트 할 의무가 있습니다. 시료 제작, 분석 장비를 다루고, 실험실을 관리하기 위해 다른 엔지니어 동료들뿐 아니라 유관 부서 (제조, Scale-up, R&D, 원재료/제품 품질, 엔지니어링, 물류 및 공급망)와 공동작업 및 소통을 통해 업무를 진행합니다.

주요책무

• 실험실 영역에서 안전, 건강 및 환경을 최우선으로 합니다.

• 실험실 조건을 분석 테스트에 적합하게 유지하고, 고객의 기대에 부응하는 청결도를 유지합니다.

• 분석방법을 개발, 개선하고 분석설비 및 신뢰성에 관련된 작업 (MSA, Method Transfer/ Correlation and improvement )이 제품 및 원자재의 품질을 확인할 수 있는 적합성을 보장하는 업무를 주로 수행합니다.

• 품질 불량 및 개선을 위한 원인 규명과 개선점 발굴을 위해 분석 개선 지원을 하고, 실험실 현장 분석자에게 관련 지침을 제공하는 등 팀 동료, 유관 부서들과 협력합니다.

• Plant/site 수준에서 분석 작업 프로세스 및 비즈니스 고객 품질 전략의 요구 사항과 일치하는 품질 프로그램을 시행하고 유지합니다.

• 실험실 테스트 및 주요 실험실 인터페이스의 게이트 키퍼 역할을 수행하여 실험실과 고객 간의 관계, 서비스 및 정보 흐름, 비즈니스 / 현장 품질, 운영, 공급망, 연구, 제품 관리 및 상업 조직과 관련된 관계, 서비스 및 정보 흐름을 구축하거나 향상시킵니다.

• 분석 품질 관리 시스템의 효과를 모니터링하고 개선 필요시 리더십과 소통합니다. 예를 들어 분석 기기 관리, 정기적 분석 기기 교정 및 분석 방법 상관 관계가 해당됩니다.

• 실험실 운영 원칙 시스템, 절차 및 지침이 적절한 품질, 안전 시스템 요구 사항을 충족하는지 확인합니다. (예 : ISO 9001 / ISO 14001/ 품질 / 분석 안전 작업 프로세스)

• 해당 샘플 / 화학 시약 취급 지침 및 요구 사항에 대한 기준을 제공합니다.

• 데이터 분석, 분석 기기 보정, Gage RR, 분석법 검증 및 기타 분석 테스트 관련 프로그램을 통해 확인된 개선 기회를 식별하고 주도합니다.

• 고객 Audit 요구 사항과 자료를 작성 및 점검하고 Audit에 참여합니다.

• 분석 작업 프로세스 전체에서 분석 방법 및 기기의 유효성을 검증합니다.

• 이 직무는 분석 업무 관점에서 고객의 요청사항이나 문제 해결을 위하여 lab에서 실무 분석을 진행하는 technician들과의 협업이 업무의 많은 부분을 차지합니다.

• 이 직무는 한국, 미국, 일본 등 고객 요구와 비지니스의 전략이 충족되도록 Lithography business에 소속된 여러 Global site와 협업합니다.

지원자격

• 다음 분석 장비의 경력 및 분석법 개선 작업의 경력을 보유한 자, 최소 3년 이상 (유기물 분석Chromatogram 분석 장비: GPC, APC, LC, LC-MS, GC, IC, 극미량 분석 장비: ICP-MS, LPC 분석 경험 보유)

• 통계적 분석 능력 및 Six sigma, MSA 작성과 경험이 있는 자

• 팀원으로서 좋은 협업 능력을 갖춘 자

• 영어 communication 가능자

Lithography QC Team – QC Analytical Engineer

Qnity, Lithography QC Team is currently conducting a selection process for an Analytical Engineer. The selected candidate will be responsible for transferring, improving, validating, and establishing analytical procedures for quality analysis of products manufactured or raw materials used in the Lithography business unit.

This engineer will work closely with senior engineers to maintain a clean and safe laboratory environment and collaborate with other team members to train and perform analysis so that products, raw materials, and other test samples can be properly analyzed. The engineer is expected to strictly follow all EHS guidelines and job training requirements to ensure safe operations and accurate sample testing. To prepare samples, operate analytical instruments, and manage the laboratory, the engineer will collaborate and communicate not only with fellow engineers but also with related departments such as Manufacturing, Scale-up, R&D, Raw Material/Product Quality, Engineering, Logistics, and Supply Chain.

 Key Responsibilities

• Ensure safety, health, and environmental compliance in the laboratory.
• Maintain laboratory conditions suitable for analytical testing and cleanliness that meets customer expectations.
• Perform tasks related to analytical methods, results, equipment reliability (e.g., MSA, Method Transfer/Correlation and improvement) to ensure product and raw material quality.
• Support root cause analysis and improvement activities for quality issues, provide guidance to analysts, and collaborate with team members and related departments.
• Implement and maintain quality programs aligned with plant/site-level analytical processes and business customer quality strategies.
• Act as a gatekeeper for lab testing and key lab interfaces, enhancing relationships, services, and information flow between the lab and stakeholders (quality, operations, supply chain, R&D, product management, commercial teams).
• Monitor the effectiveness of the analytical quality management system and communicate improvement needs to leadership (e.g., instrument management, calibration, method correlation).
• Ensure lab operating principles, procedures, and guidelines meet quality and safety system requirements (e.g., ISO 9001 / ISO 14001 / analytical safety work processes).
• Provide standards and requirements for sample and chemical reagent handling.
• Identify and lead improvement opportunities through data analysis, instrument calibration, Gage R&R, method validation, and other analytical testing programs.
• Prepare and review documentation for customer audits and participate in audit activities.
• Validate analytical methods and instruments throughout the analytical process.
• Collaborate closely with lab technicians to address customer requests and problem-solving from an analytical perspective.
• Work with global Lithography business sites (Korea, US, Japan) to meet customer requirements and business strategies.

 Qualifications

• Experience with analytical instruments, minimum 3 yrs, such as Organic compound analysis, GPC, APC, LC, LC-MS, GC, IC, ICP-MS and LPC
• Proficiency in statistical analysis, Six Sigma, and MSA documentation
• Strong team collaboration skills
• Ability to communicate in English
