Demand Planning Lead Supervisor

Our SCM Center of Excellence in Santo Domingo is currently seeking a Demand Planning Lead Supervisor. We're looking for talented professionals who are passionate about supply chain, innovation, and operational excellence to join our dynamic team.

## What you’ll do:

The Lead Demand Planner is responsible for managing a network demand plan across assigned product lines and geographies within the region while providing functional leadership, coaching, and direction to Demand Planners supporting the network.

As part of the central Demand Planning organization, this role partners closely with Product Line Management, Sales, Finance, Supply Planning, and Operations to develop an accurate demand plan across a 3-24 month planning horizon at both product group and SKU levels. The position is accountable for driving demand planning excellence, standardizing processes, improving forecast performance, and ensuring alignment between commercial objectives and operational capabilities across the region.

In addition, the role serves as a key leader within the planning organization, supporting the development of Demand Planners, driving best practices, and ensuring consistency in forecasting methodologies, governance, and execution across the network.

This role reports functionally to the Demand Manager ESA and locally to the respective Materials Leader within the Center of Excellence (CoE).

Job Responsibilities

\- Preparation of a robust mid to long term (18-24M) demand plan each month consisting of a statistical baseline forecast, reviewed and qualitatively adjusted, enhanced with market intelligence from the commercial teams and approved by the relevant sales leadership.

\- Analysis of historical trends to generate forecasts in each monthly cycle. Collect and review sales forecasts on a regular basis, identifying trends on fast & slow-moving products. Maintain seasonality trends and impact of exceptional market changes: Promotional activity, national/international events.

\- Presenting demand plan outputs in the relevant Network and SIOP team Reviews-Manage and Monitor Demand Planning KPIs at network level, including but not limited to Forecast Accuracy, Bias and Stability.-Integrate and develop robust scenario planning into network and zone demand reviews, incorporating risk and opportunties and ensuring the demand plans presented are based on live information.-Develop and manage a standardised approach to root cause analysis of top errors across the network, ensure subsequent forecast corrections are documented and validated appropiately.

\- Actively develop the relationships with country/zone commercial and financial teams to build market knowledge over the 12, 18 and 24 months planning horizon. Ensure communication of volume and portfolio requirements are effectively communicated to the Supply Planning team-Participate in all relevant forums including but not limited to monthly SIOP/Demand Review meetings, S&OE meetings & drive meaningful discussions to manage the Demand effectively-Provide functional leadership, coaching, and development support to Demand Planners within the assigned network.

\- Drive standardization of forecasting processes, tools, and best practices across the Demand Planning organization.

\- Conduct regular reviews with Demand Planners to ensure forecast quality, KPI performance, and adherence to planning standards.

\- Support talent development, onboarding, training, and capability-building initiatives across the Demand Planning team.

\- Serve as the escalation point for complex forecasting challenges, demand risks, and planning decisions impacting the business.

## Qualifications:

Education level required

\- Professional degree in Engineering, Business Administration, International Business. A Master’s degree in Supply Chain Management is preferred.

Years and area of experience required

\- 5+ years in related roles
