Position Overview:

The Program Management Leader (Service Readiness) drives the successful execution, continuous improvement, and on-time delivery of Service readiness requirements for Polaris vehicle programs. In this role, you will own the planning, coordination, and governance of critical Service deliverables throughout the product development lifecycle. Working across engineering, program management, service, and product teams, you establish accountability, identify and mitigate risks, and ensure readiness milestones are achieved. Your work directly supports successful product launches and an exceptional dealer and customer ownership experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage multiple timelines, deliverables, and cross-functional groups for vehicle projects of varying size and scope.

• Organize and lead cross-functional Service readiness meetings to establish strategies, goals, ownership, and alignment for vehicle programs.

• Develop and maintain project schedules for all product lines, incorporating current production schedules, program changes, and resulting adjustments to Service deliverable dates.

• Create a roadmap for integrating each Service deliverable into the Polaris Development Process.

• Develop standards, schedules, and RASCI responsibility frameworks for vehicle program Service readiness.

• Partner with master schedulers, engineers, managers, directors, and product-group stakeholders to maintain accurate and current project information for Service deliverables.

• Identify schedule risks and work with leaders and teams to develop and execute appropriate mitigation plans.

• Coordinate content reviews across functions to support engaged, thorough, and timely stakeholder feedback.

• Group and assign part numbers for owner’s manuals, parts books, and service manuals.

• Apply LEAN principles and implement system and process improvements that increase efficiency and strengthen Service readiness execution.

Desired Competencies:

• Planning & Organization: You manage time, resources, and priorities effectively to meet deadlines and deliver consistent results.

• Collaboration: You work effectively with others across functions and levels, contributing to shared goals while respecting different perspectives.

• Problem Solving: You identify issues, assess root causes, and implement practical solutions that balance speed, quality, and risk.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Communication, Engineering, or a related field.

• At least 5 years of experience in Project Management, Service, SIOP, Engineering, or a combination of these areas.

• Demonstrated business expertise in project management, schedule coordination, and administration.

• Proven ability to organize and deliver complex initiatives involving multiple timelines, deliverables, and stakeholders.

• Ability to influence effectively across functions and organizational levels.

• Professional, concise, and visual communication skills.

• Effective negotiation, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.

• Experience using Microsoft Excel, AS400, Polaris Release System, or other PTC Windchill-based data management systems.

• Ability to travel as needed, approximately 5–10%.

• This position is not eligible for sponsorship.
