About the Role
Our Chermside centre is looking for a confident, personable Dental Reception / Dental Assistant to join the team in a permanent part-time position!
This is a great opportunity to be part of something exciting:
- Be the welcoming first point of contact and the face of the clinic
- Take ownership of the front desk, often working independently on reception
- Build your skills with the opportunity to assist chairside, or to learn if you’re keen to develop
- Monday, Thursday, Saturday and/or Sunday permanent roster
What You’ll Be Doing
- Front-of-house reception duties, including greeting patients, check-in and check-out
- Patient scheduling, phone enquiries and appointment coordination
- Processing payments, health fund claims and patient account queries
- Delivering a warm, professional first impression for every patient
- Assisting chairside, preparing treatment rooms and supporting sterilisation when required
- Working collaboratively with dentists and the wider team to keep the clinic running smoothly

About You
- Previous reception experience essential, ideally in a dental or healthcare setting
- Excellent communication skills with a warm, confident, patient-focused manner
- Comfortable working independently on reception and handling a busy front desk
- Dental Assistant experience highly regarded, or a genuine willingness to learn
- Strong organisation and time management skills
- Reliable, professional and team-focused
- Available Monday, Thursday, Saturday and Sunday
