Job Summary:
The Senior/Staff Engineer, STPG PE System will lead test development, product engineering and electrical failure analysis for automotive managed NAND and SSD BGA products across qualification, manufacturing ramp, and customer-return phases.
The role partners mainly with NAND device, ASIC, firmware, and test engineering teams to deliver robust, cost-efficient test strategies, improve yield, test time, and quality, and secure the required laboratory and test infrastructure.
The engineer will also apply AI tools and agents to automate engineering workflows and data analysis, while providing clear technical reports and project updates.
Main Responsibilities:.
- Develop high quality and cost efficient SSD and Managed NAND test strategies
- Collaborate with Test engineering teams to define and secure required test fixtures for memory and system testing.
- Drive electrical failure analysis of the UFS / SSD BGA products through different phases of the product life cycle (e.g. qualification, high volume manufacturing and customer returns).
- Drive Yield, Test Time and Quality improvement to meet leading targets.
- Develop Artificial Intelligent tools / agents using Claude Code / Copilot to achieve above responsibilities.
- Provide engineering report/summary of Project status and issues analyzed.

- Integrates AI-assisted tools and insights into daily work to improve efficiency, quality, or effectiveness, exercising sound judgment and complying with organizational standards and legal requirements Contributes to a culture of continuous improvement by identifying, testing, and sharing AI-enabled enhancements within one’s scope of work.
Minimum Required Qualifications/Experience
- PhD, or Master’s degree with ≥3 years, or Bachelor’s degree with ≥5 years of relevant experience in Electrical/Electronic/Computer Engineering, or equivalent experience
- Knowledge of NAND flash or other non-volatile storage.
- Understanding of storage interfaces including ideally PCIe/NVMe, UFS, is not a pre-requisite, but would be an added advantage
- Knowledge and experience in product level testing, analysis and debugging will be an added advantage
- Knowledge of ATE tester, oscilloscopes, logic and/or interface protocol analyzers.
- Knowledge of product level testing and electrical failure analysis(EFA).
- Able to work under fast pace and high-pressure environment.
- Able to work in a laboratory and engineering environment
Must Have Technical Skills
- Experience in AI tool/agent (E.g. Claude code, Copilot) to automate workflow, data analysis, electrical failure analysis.
Must Have Soft Skills
- Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing.
